When should I enroll my child?
It is important to us that you feel comfortable and not pressured into making a decision. At the same time we do want you to know that space is limited and our returning camper ratio is high. The bottom line is that the earlier a child is registered the better the chance of availability. Our advice is that you should not let any camp push you into making such an important decision under a time crunch. Call us at 301-468-2267 (toll free: 866-430-2267).
How do I get more information?
You can use our “live chat” feature (see the right side of this page), call us or email us and we will respond promptly. We love talking with prospective camp parents and want to hear from you. Our office hours are typically 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (EST). We are also happy to come to you and meet at your home –we actually find this is a terrific way to ensure some familiarity with our senior staff and answer the tons of questions you and your child may have.
Can I get some references?
Absolutely – not only can you – you should! We recommend every prospective parent talk to other families about their experiences. We are lucky to have many parents and campers who are happy to tell you about our program. Click here to request contact info for parents in your area.
I may need financial assistance…
We feel strongly that no child should be denied a camp experience due to financial difficulties. Our aid process is need-based, completely confidential, and we cover the cost of your application with our third party provider. During the regular registration process you will be asked if you may need some financial help – at that point you can indicate ‘yes’ and the application will be provided. We know how difficult it can be to ask for help and that is why we have an experienced professional dedicated to to help. Please Click here to email our financial assistance specialist.
Can I come up and visit camp?
We’d love to have you visit camp during one of our scheduled tours over the course of the year. Please be advised these tours do fill up fast and are space is limited. Click here to view tour dates and schedule yours now!
What is “The Capital Advantage”?
We understand there are a series of decisions that you, as prospective camp parents, must make before choosing the right camp for your child. The various factors run the gamut of cost to food to relationships to religion to facility and on and on! We have tried to help make the comparisons easier by developing a series of ‘measures’ that we call the ‘Capital Advantage’. In essence what we do and offer as compared to others? We also hope that it helps you ask questions as you compare what we do against other camp programs.
