Yotair : Rookie

Yotair : Rookie

Want to give your child a taste of camp and prepare them for an action packed summer the following year – our Yotair (Rookie Camp) is the solution.

Available to rising 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade campers this is an action packed five day adventure and the perfect introduction to the magic of Jewish overnight camp. All programmatic and emotional needs will be met as we immerse them in a world of new experiences from arts and crafts, swimming and sports, to our low ropes course and canoeing. Fees include food, accommodations, transportation and all program costs.

Campers and staff live in traditional cabins in Benjamin Village (the ones closest to all amenities) with a camper to staff ratio of 3:1. Staff is chosen for their warmth and understanding of these younger children and our year round staff oversee the program to ensure success. For parents, we post pictures and daily updates to our website just as we normally do during the summer. Campers return home with pictures and a t-shirt but most importantly a desire to return and experience our traditional summer camp program.

When you register a child for our traditional summer camp program for the following year we even credit you back 100 % of your Yotair fees! Some parents even choose to join their Yotair campers on Friday and stay for Family Shabbaton – how much fun is that!
